The Crystal Goblet is a 160-page book design based on the collected essays of typography scholar Beatrice Warde. Working from the raw text sourced online, I translated the material into a printed object, emphasizing clarity, hierarchy, and readability in honor of Warde’s writing, while adding artistic touches to enhance visual interest.
The book was designed with interest in proper typographic structure, pacing, and margin systems to support long-form reading. The final piece was printed and hand-bound using Coptic stitching.
